If for any reason you need to return something to us, before you do anything, please email us to let us know what the problem is and what you'd like us to do. In some cases, it's not necessary to return anything at all! We may be able to solve the problem without a return.
Because we sell products from so many different sources, sometimes it is possible to get replacements directly from the manufacturer. And sometimes we may need to have Fedex pick up the package if it is damaged or opened in transit. In any case, you need to talk to us before we can accept any returns.
For returns made due to errors on our part, we can refund the entire cost of the product and usually the shipping charges too, or provide suitable replacement products/and or services if necessary. The credit card companies will not allow us to reimburse more than the original purchase price to an account, so we may have to issue a "free shipping" bonus code or other in-store discount on a future order to make up any difference over and above the original charge.
For returns that are not our fault, we'll be happy to refund the price of the products if they are returned in good, new and unused condition. The shipping charges are not refundable in this case.
Any returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase. After 30 days some items are not returnable, and others will incur a 15% restocking fee. You'll need to contact us to find out if you can return an item after 30 days.
To contact us and request a return authorization, just go to http://www.RLT.com/support/ and send a brief note describing the product you're having trouble with, what the problem is, your order number and what you'd like us to do. We will need a copy of the receipt or the packing slip we sent you included with any returned packages for proper credit. If you do not have the reciept, please include the order number, the name and address of the person who ordered the product, and where it was shipped it to if different. Without this information, we cannot determine the proper account to credit.
Don't worry, we usually respond to all messages within 24 hours, M-F (really!) If for some reason you cannot use the web form, you can call us at (210) 299-4500 from 9:00 AM to Noon, Pacific Time, M-F. Please note that we are a small company and all of our employees have many responsibilities. If we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a message and we will call you back.
